From Wrestling to Robots; Ethan Ines Does It All

Ethan Michael Ines is one of Republic County’s most involved students. He boasts a high reputation among his coaches, teachers, and peers. Ethan’s determination and working attitude never fail to motivate the people around him. With this being said, it is no surprise that Ethan was voted to be a Homecoming candidate this year.

Ethan is a high-achieving student, motivated athlete, and a hard-working scholar. He is a dedicated member of many organizations and sports. His long list of activities include football, wrestling, track and field, powerlifting, FFA, FBLA, FCA, NHS, KAYS, Science Club, Math Relays, Scholar’s Bowl, Robotics, and CYO. Ethan’s involvement in these organizations and sports show his unwavering commitment to bettering his school and community.

After graduation, Ethan plans to attend Texas A&M University to pursue a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering. He also plans to enlist in the US Army National Guard and go to Army Ranger School after college.

Some of Ethan’s favorite high school memories include State FBLA his freshman year, National FBLA his sophomore year, winning football games, weekends with friends, and qualifying for state wrestling. If Ethan could spend a day with any historical figure, he would spend it with Arnold Schwarzenegger, so he could get an insane pump. If Ethan were to write a book about his high school experience, it would be titled ‘Finally, May 11, 2025 Has Come’.

Ethan’s long high school resume is a testament to his leadership and positive impact he has made on teachers, friends, and peers alike. Congratulations Ethan, and good luck.
